Biker friendly, ample free parking available for motorcycles just in front of the hotel. Very good breakfast included. Free coffee, tea and juice available 24h. Lift available to reach the upper floors. Comfortable double bed with 6 pillows. Well sized bathroom with good shower and Rituals toiletries. Centrally located very close to the city centre. Fan is available on request. Very friendly staff at check in. Check in and check out is done very efficiently.

Wonderful staff, the shower chair for my mum was missing but they made sure one was provided so great staff that will go that extra mile for you with a smile. Nice breakfast and perfect location. Beds are super comfy. Easy public parking. However, the room could have needed a quick dust as there was a layer of dust on the glasses on the table and on the lights. But we had a great stay and would definitely come back if we have the opportunity to do so.

(+) Location: Position is everything! Right in front of river, in a quiet neighbourhood, yet just 5min walk from the center of Karlstad. We could stroll around the river, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the area, which greatly accelerated our experience in the city. (+) View: We had a room facing the south. We could have upgraded to a room claiming ’river view’, a room facing the north. Yet, there is a smaller branch river on the southwest side, occupying most of the view of our south-facing window. So regardless of room choice, you get a river view, either the larger one or the smaller one. (+) Staff: The personnel was very accomodating and helpful, both during the check in/out and during breakfast. (+) Simplicity: The breakfast was simple, compact, yet with satisfactory variety of bread, waffles, cereals, and other sweet/salty choices. There is a coffee/tea corner at the reception available to hotel guests, since there is no water boiler in the room. Quite a different concept than other hotels, but not unpleasant.

The location is very great, it is in the heart of the city and is right on the river bank. We had a great view of the river. The breakfast was tasty and diverse. We liked the apartment.

Lovely location on the riverfront with a lovely river view from our room. Very pleasant room. Karlstad is a lovely town, would highly recommended a visit if you get the chance. Good value for money.
