Very attentive. humorous and helpful staff who looked after some odd storage requests very well - comfy bed - nice shower. Overall very happy to return next time

Personnel, breakfast, location and room perfectly as expected. I was "upgraded" to a nicer room and like this new one really much, except one thing...

(+) Location: Position is everything! Right in front of river, in a quiet neighbourhood, yet just 5min walk from the center of Karlstad. We could stroll around the river, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the area, which greatly accelerated our experience in the city. (+) View: We had a room facing the south. We could have upgraded to a room claiming ’river view’, a room facing the north. Yet, there is a smaller branch river on the southwest side, occupying most of the view of our south-facing window. So regardless of room choice, you get a river view, either the larger one or the smaller one. (+) Staff: The personnel was very accomodating and helpful, both during the check in/out and during breakfast. (+) Simplicity: The breakfast was simple, compact, yet with satisfactory variety of bread, waffles, cereals, and other sweet/salty choices. There is a coffee/tea corner at the reception available to hotel guests, since there is no water boiler in the room. Quite a different concept than other hotels, but not unpleasant.

Lovely location on the riverfront with a lovely river view from our room. Very pleasant room. Karlstad is a lovely town, would highly recommended a visit if you get the chance. Good value for money.

A very nice hotel close to the center of Karlstad. Modern and clean rooms. Nice breakfast.
